There once was a time in the not too distant past when the Seattle Seahawks were known as a team that struggled away from the friendly confines of Lumen Field. Seattle was a force at home, but easily tamed on the road. Those days are long gone.
The Seahawks are currently headed to the east coast for the first time this season for a Week 3 game against the Commanders... and they have every reason to be excited for a trip to the "other" Washington. In recent years the Seahawks have outright dominanted on the east coast.

Since 2018 the Seahawks are 25-7 when playing in the eastern time zone, which includes a perfect 6-0 mark last year. Additionally, Seattle is an astonishing 24-5 in their last 29 kick offs that began at 10:00 am Pacific Time. A perfect treat for the 12th Man to wake up to, and then get on with the rest of their Sunday afternoon happy about a win.
The Seahawks will aim to improve to 3-0 on the year against a Commanders team similarly without their starting quarterback. Jayden Daniels dislocated his left elbow last Sunday, and is OUT for Week 3. Starting in relief will be veteran backup Marcus Mariota.
