Over the past few years, Brunson has gone from being a role player for the Dallas Mavericks to becoming a certified legend for the Knicks. He deserves all the credit for that because he has earned his reputation as the Knicks' star and captain.
Considering that he has played through all kinds of injuries over the years, the Knicks fans respect him even more for giving it his all for the Knicks. That was why a lot of Knicks fans were worried for him during the offseason when it was announced that he had surgery.

"I just want to tell you guys that I'm fully cleared," Brunson simply put during a live show of his The Roommates Show with Josh Hart.
This is a big deal for the Knicks because they have a huge target on their backs. With Brunson healthy and fully firing, the Knicks have a chance to become the first team in almost a decade to defend their title.
