The five-star wing committed to Syracuse on Friday. — Class of 2028 forward Cole Kelly is also in Columbus this week. The Neuqua Valley standout has been a long-term target for Illinois in the '28 class. While Kelly hasn't taken an unofficial/official visit to Champaign yet this fall, he has been on campus. His twin sister, Tatum, is committed to play volleyball at Illinois and made the trip down I-57 for her recent visit. Kelly's high school teammate, Mason Martin, has, of course, already committed to Illinois. — It's a good idea to listen to Mike LaTulip any time he talks about Illinois basketball (or college hoops at large). — Could David Mirkovic be an All-American?
