After two trips to Sao Paulo, the NFL is heading to a new city on Brazil.
On Sunday afternoon, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens will take on Dak Prescott and the Cowboys, an excellent matchup in its own right that will only be amplified by the bright lights of Maracana Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
As part of the pre-game ceremonies, both the United States' and Brazilian national anthems will be performed.

Who is singing the U.S. and Brazil national anthems for Ravens vs. Cowboys?
On August 20, the NFL announced that for its first-ever Rio Game, the national anthems of both the United States and Brazil would be performed before the Cowboys take on the Ravens.
Performing Brazil's national anthem will be Brazilian samba and pagode star Pericles, while American bilingual recording artist Kandace Lindsey will sing "The Star Spangled Banner."
Who is Pericles?
Pericles is a Brazilian singer, composer and intstrumentist of pagode, which is a subgenre of samba that originates in Rio de Janeiro. He was a founding member of the band Exaltasamba, then began a solo career in 2012 that has included projects including "Em Sua Direcao," which was nominated for a Latin Grammy in the Best Samba/Pagode Album category.
“I’m very happy and honored to receive this invitation. Singing the Brazilian National Anthem is always a very special moment, and having the opportunity to represent Brazil at an event of this magnitude, here at the Maracana, makes it even more meaningful,” Pericles said in the NFL's release. “Music and sports have a unique way of bringing people together and creating unforgettable moments. I’m truly excited to be part of such an important moment for the NFL in Brazil, and I hope to represent our country in the best possible way."
The 57-year-old, who is from Santo Andre, Sao Paulo, will now take the stage for the NFL's first Rio matchup.
Who is Kandace Lindsey?
Lindsey is a bilingual American artist who sings in both Portuguese and English, with her work reflecting Brazilian soul, jazz and global rhythms. Her latest album was "To Brasil with Love," making her an excellent fit to take the spotlight at Maracana Stadium.
“I am so proud to represent the USA, singing our National Anthem on a stage in a city that has inspired me artistically is a full-circle moment for me,” Lindsey said in the NFL's release. “Music has the power to bring people together across cultures and borders, and I’m honored to have that cross-cultural exchange on full display on this global stage, representing my country through my voice and my art.”
