Iowa women's basketball welcomes trio of visitors over Ohio State weekend

As the sports world's attention descended upon Iowa City with ESPN's College GameDay on hand for the first time in 20 years, Saturday provided a great opportunity to showcase everything that Iowa has to offer.

The Iowa women's basketball program welcomed in a trio of visitors for unofficial visits over the weekend, per Hawk Central. In addition to "College GameDay" being in Iowa City, Nike went all out to celebrate the release of Caitlin Clark's new signature sneakers, the Caitlin 1s. Nike had a pop-up shop in Iowa City this weekend as part of its Nike Basketball Nothing Special to See Here* Iowa Takeover.
All of it added up to a terrific weekend to showcase what the Hawkeyes have to offer.
Iowa welcomed in a pair of players in the 2028 class—forwards Khloe Nicholson and Brianna Eggers—and 2029 point guard Arianna Rowell.

Khloe Nicholson, SF, Quincy Senior High School (Ill.)

Khloe Nicholson is ranked as a four-star prospect and as the No. 23 player nationally on ESPN's SportsCenter NEXT Super 60 list for the 2028 class.
In addition to Iowa, Nicholson also has offers from schools such as Wisconsin, Michigan, Oklahoma, and Kentucky.

Brianna Eggers, F, Buffalo High School (Minn.)

Eggers is a 6-foot-2 forward from the 2028 class who has already recorded more than 1,000 career points for her high school team.
She has offers from North Dakota State, South Dakota, and Drake.

Arianna Rowell is ranked as the No. 6 player in the 2029 class in Indiana per Prep Girls Hoops.
Rowell has offers from Ball State, Dayton, Purdue-Fort Wayne, Butler, Eastern Illinois, Central Michigan, Valparaiso, Bowling Green State, Murray State, and Lindenwood.
