Packers make RG Kevin Zeitler inactive for Week 4 vs. Buccaneers

· Yahoo Sports

The Green Bay Packers will not have veteran right guard Kevin Zeitler for Sunday's showdown with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Zeitler, who signed with the Packers on Wednesday, is officially inactive for Week 4.

Zeitler joins guard Aaron Banks, guard/center Jacob Monk and defensive lineman Anthony Campbell as the Packers' four inactive players for Sunday.

Zeitler has made over 200 career starts in the NFL, but he's only been in Green Bay for three days and is still ramping up physically after not having a training camp. Zeitler has not played in a football game since the 2025 regular season finale in early January, when he suffered a leg injury that eventually required offseason surgery.

The Packers will likely go with Donovan Jennings or Travis Glover at right guard against the Buccaneers on Sunday.

Laken Tomlinson, who also joined the Packers this week, is active. He was previously on the practice squad of the Dallas Cowboys. It's possible Tomlinson will be the starter at left guard.

The Packers face the Chicago Bears next Sunday at Lambeau Field, providing a likely setting for Zeitler's debut in green and gold.
