A fight broke out following the opening kickoff between the Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles, and the Jags' touchdown return was nullified by offsetting penalties. Multiple officials lost their hats, having thrown their flag already in the scrum. Five penalty flags were thrown.
Two players were ejected: Jaguars defensive end Bryan Thomas Jr. and Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr.
The Eagles entered 2-2 while the Jaguars lead the AFC South at 3-1.
