In-Dot Sports Pvt Ltd and Prasar Bharati have announced the launch of the Kisan Cricket League (KCL), a nationwide platform to identify and promote cricket and singing talent from rural and semi-urban India. Built around the theme “Khelega Bharat, Dekhega India”, the initiative will combine digital auditions, artificial intelligence-enabled screening and on-ground trials to select participants.
The inaugural cricket season will feature 45 live matches in a 15-over format across seven stadiums in tier-II and tier-III cities. The league will have seven teams, 140 emerging cricketers and 30 singers selected from a nationwide talent pool.
