🟥 Spain punished for Islamophobic chants
The Spanish Football Federation has been fined and sanctioned over Islamophobic chants at the RCDE Stadium during the Spain-Egypt match.
Last March, Spain played Egypt in a friendly ahead of the World Cup, which they would later win.

The match took place at Espanyol's home ground, the RCDE Stadium, where chants of "Anyone who doesn't jump is a Muslim" broke out in the eighth minute.
According to 'Sky Sports', this has led FIFA to fine the Federation $20,000 and order part of the stadium to be closed for its next FIFA-organized match.
Bad news for 'La Roja'.
