Bears vs. Patriots odds: Opening lines for Week 7 matchup
· Yahoo Sports
The Chicago Bears must quickly shift focus to their Thursday Night Football matchup against the New England Patriots and our partners at FanDuel Sportsbook just dropped their early odds for the game.
Fresh off the win at Atlanta, the Bears come home to host last year’s Super Bowl runner-up at Soldier Field and are currently 3-point favorites.

It’s generally understood in gambling that home-field advantage is worth 3 points, so the oddsmakers think the two teams are pretty evenly matched.
The Patriots beat the Jets in Foxboro today 26-19. They will come to Chicago with an equal 4-2 record.
Chicago beat those same Jets by 11 just a couple of weeks ago and with a backup QB.
But it’s a week-to-week league and the Patriots’ tough defense has played well this season.
It’s also the second meeting between 2024 first-overall pick Caleb Williams and third-overall pick Drake Maye. Maye’s early-season struggles seem to be behind him. He threw three touchdowns, no interceptions and took no sacks against New York.
The last time Chicago and New England played was in 2024 during the two quarterbacks’ rookie season. The Patriots beat the Bears 19-3 as Chicago looked dead in the water. The Bears managed just 142 yards of offense.
