Dylan Larkin Adds Three Teams to Trade List including Hurricanes, Mammoth

· Yahoo Sports

On Tuesday night, Detroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin reportedly expanded his trade list to ten teams, according to Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press.

The teams already known to be on Larkin's list were the Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, Florida Panthers, Minnesota Wild, Tampa Bay Lightning, Vegas Golden Knights and Washington Capitals. Three new clubs have now been added, and some of them are surprising.

The first is the Utah Mammoth, who have been one of the league's hottest teams, opening the season with wins in seven of their first ten games. The second is the Carolina Hurricanes, the defending Stanley Cup champions. The third is the New Jersey Devils, perhaps the most intriguing addition.

Larkin has said he wants to compete for a Stanley Cup, but he is reportedly interested only in joining an American market. That restriction leaves one notable team off the list in the Montreal Canadiens.

Montreal is coming off an Eastern Conference Finals appearance and has the assets to facilitate a deal, yet it remains absent from Larkin's list.

On the ice, Larkin returned to the Detroit lineup and made an immediate impact, recording a goal and an assist in a multi-point game. His production has cooled since, with one assist and no goals over his last five games.
