OH WOW, BRANDON MILLER 😱

Somebody just forgot to cover Miller early on in the possession, with Julius Randle coming over late to defend the former Alabama Crimson Tide star. Miller, who will turn 24 years old in November, blew by Randle easily and found a wide open space down the middle. Wagner tried to stop Miller, but it was too late. That was simply a spectacular display of athleticism and bad example of how to play defense at the same time.
There are plenty of games left in the NBA season, so fans are certainly bound to see more wild dunks. It is fair to even say that Miller will have even better throwdowns than the one he had over Wagner, but getting his first slam of the campaign in that fashion must have felt great.
That was also quite a way to start the season for Miller after he signed a $209 million contract extension with the Hornets in the offseason.
Selected second overall in the first round of the 2023 NBA Draft, Miller averaged 20.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 65 games during the 2025-26 campaign, and is looking to top those numbers in his fourth season in the league.
