Jalen Brunson has another national television stop lined up, and this one comes with a rooting interest.
According to the New York Post, the Knicks captain will appear alongside Peyton and Eli Manning on ESPN’s “ManningCast” Monday as Philadelphia faces Dallas. His guest segment will take place in the third quarter.
Brunson supports the Eagles, a connection that traces back to his childhood in South Jersey before his family moved to Chicago. Now, he gets to discuss his favorite NFL team with two former champions while carrying a championship distinction himself.

Last season, Brunson helped New York secure its first championship across the four major professional sports leagues since Eli’s Giants captured the Super Bowl following the 2011 season. Monday’s appearance puts those two chapters of the city’s sports history together on one broadcast.
What connects Jalen Brunson and Eli Manning?
Brunson and Eli already have experience trading questions away from their respective sports.
Eli previously visited “The Roommates Show,” the podcast Brunson hosts with Josh Hart. Brunson also appeared on the “Eli Manning Show,” where the former Giants quarterback questioned the origins of his Philadelphia allegiance.
“I grew up in South Jersey,” Brunson said. “South Jersey’s basically all Philly [sports fandom]. My first non-NBA sporting event was Terrell Owens’ first game at [Lincoln Financial Field].”
Brunson also offered a shared accomplishment.
“All I know,” Brunson said, “is that we both beat the Patriots [in the Super Bowl].”
His upcoming visit adds another platform after he hosted “Saturday Night Live” last month.
Four other active NBA players have visited the alternate broadcast: Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. Brunson becomes the fifth. Charles Barkley has visited, too.
