Juventus struggling attack could affect other parts of their team

Juventus overhauled their attacking options during the summer, but the changes have yet to solve one of their biggest problems. The Bianconeri continue to struggle to score, sometimes relying on players from other positions to provide the goals they need.

The lack of contribution from their forwards has become a persistent concern. Although Juventus have weaknesses elsewhere, their attack has been one of the areas that has caused the most difficulty throughout the season. Their strikers have struggled to convert chances, making it harder for the team to deliver the results expected of them.
Juventus need more from their forwards
Juventus will find it difficult to build momentum unless Randal Kolo Muani and Nick Woltemade start taking the opportunities that come their way. Their inability to consistently find the net places extra pressure on the rest of the squad, which cannot always compensate for the lack of goals from the front line.
Luciano Spalletti is working to get his forwards performing more effectively, but time is becoming a factor. Juventus need a reliable source of goals if they are to improve their results and avoid allowing their attacking problems to undermine the team’s overall confidence.
Roberto Beccantini has been monitoring the Bianconeri since the start of the campaign and believes the difficulties in attack could have consequences beyond the forward line.

Beccantini warns of wider consequences
Beccantini discussed Juventus’ attacking struggles, speaking via Tuttojuve:
“It is not easy to play with two «questioning points»: Woltemade, to make banks (for whom, the Lord knows); Kolo Muani, to run after himself. I fear that the perception of offensive complications will end up having repercussions on other departments as well, creating an anxiety-inducing state that is not easy to manage: and a solution.”
His comments underline the concern that uncertainty in the final third could spread throughout the team. When forwards fail to convert chances, pressure can build on the rest of the squad, while the whole side may become less assured.
Spalletti must therefore find a way to improve Juventus’ attacking output before the issue affects their wider performance. If Kolo Muani and Woltemade can become more clinical, the team may have a better chance of turning competitive displays into victories. Until then, their struggles in front of goal remain a major obstacle.
