The Pittsburgh Steelers have the week off and enjoy a slight lead in the AFC North. The Cleveland Browns will tangle with the New Orleans Saints, Cincinnati does battle in the early Sunday game with Atlanta, and the Ravens are up against Jacksonville tonight on Thursday Night Football. All of Pittsburgh will be Saints, Falcons, and Jaguars fans.

Tuesday is the NFL trade deadline, and the speculation is running rampant surrounding Pittsburgh and their potential activity or non-activity. The Steelers could use another receiver, while backup QB Mason Rudolph has been named as a potential trade piece. Pittsburgh is 6-2 with an aging group. No one would blame them for making a move to push the envelope this season in a wide-open AFC.

Sunday and Monday will determine who is truly selling ahead of the deadline. We will have to wait and see.

Here is Thursday’s Three Rivers Report.
