Fit with Steelers defense
Edmunds, who led the Bears' defense in tackles last season, was one of the league's best linebackers at stopping the run in 2025 — an area of concern for Pittsburgh's defense over the past two seasons.
Given the Steelers' struggles at inside linebacker over the past few years, as well as potential cap casualties in Patrick Queen and Malik Harrison, Edmunds would be a nice pickup opposite Payton Wilson.
Contract prediction
Considering Edmunds' Spotrac-projected average annual value of $10.4 million, we at Steelers Wire predict a three-year, $33 million deal could be the sweet spot.
