Following a heartbreaking national championship loss to Denver on Saturday, the Badgers have reportedly landed a transfer commitment from Northeastern defenseman Dylan Compton.

Compton played in 36 games as a freshman at Northeastern in 2025-26, tallying four goals and six assists during that action. He previously experienced a breakout campaign in the USHL in 2024-25, playing in 62 regular-season games for the Waterloo Black Hawks and recording five goals and 40 assists. He continued that success in the USHL playoffs, scoring two goals and tallying 11 assists in 13 games.

The incoming Badger will work to bolster a defense corps that is looking to replace star Ben Dexheimer.
