Besides these efforts, greening activities were undertaken at station premises, railway colonies and surrounding areas to improve green cover, with plantation activities continuing across the Division.

In order to create greater awareness regarding environmentally responsible lifestyles, special programs were organized in railway colonies encouraging residents to adopt sustainable practices in their daily routine. Simultaneously, drives for maintenance and beautification of parks located near railway stations and colonies were undertaken to improve public spaces and promote a greener environment.

The campaign also focused on health and environmental well-being through various outdoor and physical fitness activities. Dedicated awareness programs highlighted the significance of clean air, green surroundings and healthy living, while extensive outreach efforts were undertaken to educate people about the environmental hazards posed by e-waste and the importance of its proper recycling and disposal.

Further, eco-friendly products available under the One Station One Product (OSOP) scheme were promoted at railway stations to encourage environmentally conscious consumer choices.
