The media can be far too quick to judge draft classes. Yes, I am also susceptible to handing out grades right after a draft, and not following up down the line, but it is interesting to look back on grades or to potentially re-draft a class.

CBS Sports looked back to the loaded 2023 NFL Draft class and did a full, first-round re-draft, and the Minnesota Vikings would stay at wide receiver but land someone new.

According to Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports, the Vikings pass on Jordan Addison, who would be taken 31st overall by the Kansas City Chiefs, to select Jayden Reed, a current Green Bay Packer. The issue with Reed is the injury bug, which is why this selection is very questionable. Players Minnesota could have gone in this exercise are guys like Steve Avila (G), Keeanu Benton (DT), Joey Porter Jr. (CB), or O'Cyrus Torrence (G).

I believe that all four of these players would be better than Reed in this spot, but that's the beauty of a re-draft.
