PSG wants Olise, too (Kicker via BuLiNews)

Paris Saint-Germain could be contemplating a serious run at Bayern Munich star Michael Olise:

Now, Kicker reports that not only the Spanish giants, but also reigning Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain are closely monitoring the attacker – in particular his displays for France alongside PSG trio Ousmane Dembélé, Désiré Doué and Bradley Barcola.

However, according to reports from France, Olise is said to be more interested in a move to Real Madrid.

Whether a transfer materialises this summer is highly doubtful, though, with Bayern planning with Olise and repeatedly insisting he is not for sale.

The 24-year-old is under contract until 2029, leaving Bayern in a strong negotiating position.

There is still no reason to think Olise is leaving Bayern Munich any time soon. In fact, the Frenchman could actually be looking to extend his stay. However, that does not mean the interest and sales pitches will stop. PSG, in its current role as the world’s best club team, could eventually be tempting to Olise, but there is no reason to worry yet.

City gets Anderson (Transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano)

Manchester City got its man — Nottingham Forest star and England international Elliot Anderson:

🚨🔵 BREAKING: Elliot Anderson to Manchester City, here we go! Deal in place between clubs for fee worth £116m.

MCFC sources confirm agreement now done after talks at final stages as reported last week.

Anderson asked Forest today to go and leave the club. Medical in the US.

Romano checked back in with information on Anderson’s medical exam:

🚨 Manchester City have booked medical in New York for Elliot Anderson (Friday).

Deal to cost £116m fee, no add-ons, all agreed with Nottingham Forest. 🔵🤝🏻

Liverpool eyeing Bouaddi (ESPN)

Liverpool FC could be targeting Lille and Morocco midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi:

Liverpool have a firm interest in signing Lille and Morocco midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, who continues to attract suitors amid his impressive World Cup displays, says The Daily Mail. Bouaddi, 18, has seen interest from Arsenal and Lille are expecting to receive a fee of around €70 million.

Lille and Bouaddi could be the two entities who benefit the most from this World Cup if the youngster continues to bolster his reputation.

If Bayern makes a sale, De Cat could be on wish list (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)

Bayern Munich is, indeed, interested in Anderlecht midfielder Nathan De Cat, but it will have to move a player or two to make it happen:

✅ It is TRUE: Nathan de Cat is on Bayern Munich’s shortlist. I’ve mentioned the Anderlecht star before, and for good reason, as Bayern definitely rate him. However, at the moment, it is what it is. If they don’t sell a player, they won’t go for De Cat. At the moment, it feels like an agent thing; with the links to Bayern being taken advantage of to help engineer a better deal with another interested club. It’s not hot with Bayern at the moment. I’m not saying it will never happen, but there just isn’t the liquidity right now for Bayern Munich to seriously pursue this deal.

It seems like Bayern Munich might be content to ride with the players it currently has and integrate a young player into the mix. If that does not work — and De Cat does not leave Anderlecht — this could still be a move for January or even next summer.

Bayern Alumni: Cuisance to Lens (Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg)

Former Bayern Munich midfielder Michaël Cuisance is on his way to Lens:

🚨💥 EXCLUSIVE | Michael Cuisance to RC Lens – DONE DEAL ✔️

Full agreement reached with Hertha BSC. Transfer fee worth around €5m all-in. Contract until at least 2029.

Champions League football awaits Cuisance, who becomes a major signing for new head coach Dino Toppmöller. @SkySportDE

Cuisance remains one of the most puzzling acquisitions for Bayern Munich in this century. There was no rhyme or reason for the move as there was no playing time to give him and no discernable reason to rush to get him. Cuisance was also very immature and handled the situation poorly, which made the move become a laughing stock of sorts. All-in-all, it was a disaster for the #StepOverKing.

We will still always have that Disney World story, though.

Shocker! Neymar out on Cincinnati idea (ESPN)

Did anyone really think that Neymar was headed to the land of Joe Burrow and Skyline Chili? The most shocking thing is that it seems like Neymar actually wanted the move:

Neymar has pulled out of talks to join MLS side FC Cincinnati, according to The Athletic. There is reported to be frustration on the side of the 34-year-old, who is on World Cup duty with Brazil this summer, with talks progressing slowly between the two parties. Cincinnati never made a formal offer to sign the winger, who remains open to joining an MLS team.

It is tough to figure out what is next for Neymar. He could continue to play comfortably in Brazil (unless he has gone on some ridiculous spending spree, it seems like it would be impossible to blow through that much money), so uprooting himself to Ohio would seem like an odd decision for the former FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain star.
