For the second week in a row, a Friday night Milwaukee Brewers game will appear on the Apple TV streaming service, with the Brewers and Diamondbacks starting play at Chase Field in Arizona at 8:45 p.m. CT. It's the second game of Apple TV's "Friday Night Baseball" offerings July 3, with the Rays and Astros starting earlier in the evening.
The kickoff to the Fourth of July weekend will include Brewers left-hander Kyle Harrison (8-1, 2.57 ERA) taking on Diamondbacks righty Jose Cabrera (0-1, 3.60 ERA).
Here's what you need to know:
Where can you watch the Brewers-Diamondbacks game July 3?
The game is available exclusively on Apple TV, and it's not one of those situations where the game airs on a typical channel in the Milwaukee (or any) market. If you want to see the game, you'll need the service.
How much is Apple TV?
There's a seven-day free trial if you haven't subscribed before, and if you did sign up for a free month to watch the Brewers face the Cubs last Friday, then you're already set. You can also sign up for a one-month free trial in honor of Apple's baseball slate. Check out the Apple frequently asked questions for more info on how to sign up.
Otherwise, it's $12.99 per month.
Do the Brewers play again on Apple?
As of now, they don't have any more games on the Apple slate after July 3, but they do have some upcoming games appearing in places other than Brewers.TV, and that includes the Sunday game in this same series against Arizona.
The July 5 game will appear on the NBC Sports Network or Peacock, and July 12 will air likewise on NBCSN/Peacock. That'll get you to the all-star break, at least. The rest of the games are scheduled for their usual spot on Brewers.TV.
Who else pitches for the Brewers against the Diamondbacks?
On Saturday, Brandon Woodruff (2-1, 2.59 ERA) will face right-hander Merrill Kelly (5-8, 5.84 ERA). On Sunday, Brandon Sproat (3-4, 5.28 ERA) will face left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez (7-2, 2.21).
After that, Milwaukee travels to St. Louis for five games in four days, including a doubleheader Tuesday, July 7. After a 6:45 p.m. CT game Monday, the Brewers will play at 1:15 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, both a regularly scheduled game and a makeup of the May 5 game that was postponed by rain.
After two more 6:45 p.m. games July 8-9, the Brewers travel to Pittsburgh for three games before the all-star break.
When will we find out who made the National League all-star team?
Final starters, reserves and pitchers will all be announced at 6:30 p.m. CT Saturday, July 4, on FOX. The Brewers have more or less indicated Jacob Misiorowski will be unavailable to pitch in the all-star game, presuming he's selected.
