Rams' Kyren Williams and Blake Corum ranked as best RB duo in NFL
· Yahoo Sports
After an offseason of roster moves and partnership breakups, the Los Angeles Rams enter 2026 with one of the best running back combos in the NFL. Every-down back Kyren Williams achieved his third straight 1,000-yard rushing season last year, while Blake Corum broke onto the scene, using his speed and burst to run by defenders during his sophomore campaign.
With the duo combining for over 2,000 yards from scrimmage and 19 touchdowns in 2025, they're looking to build on their momentum, especially as they're set to run behind one of the NFL's best offensive lines in an offense that is revolutionizing tight end usage.

As a result, Sports Illustrated's Matt Verderame named Williams and Corum as the NFL's No. 1 running back duo entering this season.
Corum became a factor in his second year out of Michigan. Playing behind Williams, Corum rushed for 746 yards on 5.1 YPC with a 59.3% success rate. A valuable backfield factor, the 25-year-old should see his role only grow. As a rookie, he played a paltry 11% of the snaps before seeing that number rise to 29% in 2025.
In the main role, the Rams have a superstar in Williams. He’s one of just two backs to rush for at least 1,100 yards and 10 touchdowns each of the past three seasons, along with Derrick Henry. Last year, Williams helped lead Los Angeles to the NFC title game, with 1,533 scrimmage yards and 13 touchdowns.
Since 2023, Williams has powered the Rams to the postseason through his use as a runner, blocker, and pass catcher. Corum has given the Rams the breakaway speed element that the offense has been missing for some time.
Considering Williams' streak and Corum's 5.1 yards per carry average, if the Rams emphasize the rushing attack, there's no reason they shouldn't have two 1,000-yard running backs this season.
