Switzerland's key player Johan Manzambi is doubtful for the World Cup last 16 match against Colombia on Tuesday.

A day before the match, the midfielder had to cut short his training session. Djibril Sow and Ruben Vargas also didn't participate in the session until the end.

"Of course, it would be a blow if the players who stopped training couldn't be there," coach Murat Yakin said.

"Of course, it's very frustrating that they had to cut training short a day before the game," he added, saying it would be a "huge loss" if the three players were unable to take the field.

Referring to Manzambi, Yakin said: "His performances are outstanding, he's a team player, a complete football player."

The coaching and medical staffs will do everything they can to ensure he can play against Colombia, he said.

"They must be 100% fit and ready," Yakin added.
