Duke's social media team posted pictures from the event, and Blackwell himself reposted the images, saying, "Where it all started." This was a nice gesture from Blackwell as he prepares for his senior season and his first year with Duke. Last season with the Wisconsin Badgers, Blackwell averaged 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals while shooting 38.9% from beyond the arc. Following the departures of Cameron Boozer and Isaiah Evans, all eyes will be on Blackwell to provide the Blue Devils with a scoring punch.
