Mooresville pitcher among those with Indiana ties selected in 2026 MLB Draft

The 20-round Major League Baseball Draft has concluded, and seven players with Indiana ties have selected — five from Indiana colleges and two from high schools.

Two first-round picks came from Indiana colleges: Indiana State outfielder Carter Beck, and Notre Dame pitcher Jack Radel. High schoolers Dylan Bowen (Hanover Central) and Hudson DeVaughan (Mooresville) were selected.

Bowen is the brother of Notre Dame linebacker Drayk Bowen, who chose to play football over baseball after enrolling as a dual-sport athlete for the Fighting Irish.
