Kentucky deputy AD Marc Hill leaving for BYU's executive team

Kentucky deputy athletics director Marc Hill is leaving the university to join BYU’s executive team, according to a report from ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Hill has been in his current role with Kentucky since 2019, working directly alongside former AD Mitch Barnhart, who retired in June.

Hill has spent 27 years in Lexington in a variety of positions. He has been Kentucky’s football sport administrator since 2012. Hill also spent 12 years as the director of strength and conditioning. Before moving into athletics administration, he oversaw the strength program for all of the school's teams while directly working with football.
He also spent two seasons as the sport administrator for the baseball team before transitioning to football after the 2012 season.
The deputy AD also played a role in projects getting done for athletic programs. Hill helped oversee the football stadium renovation, football training center, baseball stadium, track and field training complex, and renovation of Memorial Coliseum.
Kentucky is now under J Batt's leadership since Barnhart's retirement. Batt was the former athletic director at Michigan State.
