NEET PG 2026: NBEMS Warns Against Fake Leaked Papers And Bogus Exam Material Claims On Telegram, WhatsApp

With NEET PG 2026 just days away, the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has warned candidates against fake claims of question paper leaks and fraudulent offers of “confirmed” exam material circulating on social media.

The warning comes after posts and messages allegedly claiming that the NEET PG 2026 question paper had been leaked began making the rounds on platforms including Telegram, WhatsApp and Instagram. NBEMS has dismissed such claims and urged candidates not to trust or act on unverified information.

The postgraduate medical entrance examination is scheduled to be held on August 30, 2026, in a single shift.

NBEMS cautions candidates against leak claims

In its alert, NBEMS said candidates should be wary of fake social media handles, bogus claims and misleading advertisements promising access to “leaked”, “confirmed” or “80–90% matching” NEET PG 2026 question papers or secret examination material.

The board said such claims are false and fraudulent and are intended to mislead candidates ahead of the examination.

The warning is particularly relevant as candidates may encounter posts offering supposed question papers or examination material in exchange for money or personal information.

Candidates warned against payments

NBEMS has also cautioned candidates against interacting with suspicious accounts or links associated with such claims.

Candidates have been advised not to scan suspicious QR codes, make payments, share personal information or engage with accounts making such offers.

The board has asked aspirants to rely only on official NBEMS communications and its authorised websites for updates related to NEET PG 2026.

NEET PG exam scheduled on August 30

The NEET PG 2026 examination will be conducted by NBEMS on August 30 in a single shift. With the exam approaching, candidates are being advised to focus on their preparation rather than rumours and unverified material circulating online.

NBEMS has issued repeated alerts to ensure that candidates do not fall victim to individuals or groups attempting to exploit exam-related anxiety.

Candidates should therefore verify any information about the examination through official NBEMS channels before taking any action. Claims circulating on Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram or other platforms should not be treated as genuine unless they are confirmed by the examination authority.

The board has also urged candidates to remain vigilant and avoid falling for rumours or advertisements promising access to the NEET PG question paper or confidential examination material.
