Former Indianapolis Colts safety Juanyeh Thomas is planning to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers practice squad, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler.
The Colts signed Thomas earlier this offseason in free agency, but he was released during roster cutdowns on Sunday.

Thomas, cut by Indianapolis on Sunday, had 62 tackles for the Cowboys from 2023-25.
Thomas proved to be a stout run defender during the preseason, but with the Colts only keeping four safeties initially, he was the odd man out. He wasn't targeted in coverage.
Thomas also could be a core special teams contributor, but that role at the safety position was being filled by Jonathan Owens.
Thomas, 26, went undrafted in 2022 out of Georgia Tech and has spent his first four NFL seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.
During that span, he has played 549 defensive snaps, 264 of which came in 2025. He's also played 724 snaps special teams over the previous three seasons.
