The NFL world was stunned over the weekend as one of the biggest names in the sport announced he would be returning to the field this season. Aaron Donald, a Super Bowl champion and three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, retired from the league in March of 2024 after an incredible 10-year career.

Now, Donald is back in the gold and blue, coming out of retirement to join the Los Angeles Rams. He joins the current NFL Defensive Player of the Year, Myles Garrett, on a team that will surely have their mind set on another Super Bowl appearance.
But first they'll have to defeat their division rival that is coming off of its own Super Bowl title. The Seattle Seahawks took home the title in 2026, and safety Nick Emmanwori seemingly had his own take on the return of Donald.

"All that for us," the defender said in a tweet that also included the laughing and saluting emojis. The season hasn't even started yet, and the fun has already begun in the NFC West.
