Instead, the Warrior men's soccer team beat the rain back into the Tom Arnold Net Center after being the Bighorns with a trio of goals in the second half. Pedro Beserra, Noah Liebl and Furkan Cengizay found the back of the net in a seven-minute surge that lifted Indian Hills to a 3-1 win in the finale of the 2026 IHCC Classic two days after settling for a 2-2 draw against No. 19 Snow.
"The guys played with a lot more heart. We took our chances a little bit better," Indian Hills head men's soccer coach Zach Newton said. "It was great that we scored the most goals we have in any match yet this season, but 22 shots to get three goals shows we still need to be a little bit more clinical.
"Great effort. The guys worked really hard defensively. As long as we limit our mistakes, we can beat anyone. That was a really important message for our guys."
Indian Hills (2-0-3) earned a 1-1 draw against Miami-Dade on Thursday in the first match in Florida for the Warriors since winning the program's first national championship last November. Next up for top-ranked IHCC will be a showdown with second-ranked Daytona State on Saturday.
