According to reports relayed by Bernabeu Digital, Real Madrid continue to monitor the most promising young players in European football, and their latest target could be Bayern Munich brightest prospect Lennart Karl.

Indeed, the Spanish capital club are following the development of the young attacking midfielder who, despite being only 18, is already making a name for himself in Germany.

His age, potential and attacking qualities fit the recruitment strategy Real Madrid have pursued in recent years.

Karl has impressed with his ability to operate in advanced positions and the potential he has shown from a very early age.

Karl has admitted Real Madrid admiration

Since making his first-team debut for Bayern Munich in June last year, Karl has made 45 senior appearances, scoring ten and assisting nine goals.

His progress has caught the attention of those at the Santiago Bernabeu, while the player himself has previously acknowledged that Real Madrid is one of the clubs he dreams of representing.

Indeed, during an interview in January earlier this year, Karl admitted: “Bayern is a very, very big club. It’s a dream to play there. But at some point I definitely want to go to Real Madrid.”

“That’s my dream club. Of course, Bayern is something very special, and it’s a lot of fun at the club,” he added.

Despite the reported interest from Real Madrid and Karl’s admiration for the Spanish club, Bayern Munich currently have no intention of allowing their young talent to leave.

The 18-year-old starlet, who can play as an attacking midfielder or on the right flank, is under contract with the German champions until June 2029, giving them considerable control over his future and plenty of time to continue developing the teenager.

Real Madrid are therefore expected to continue monitoring his progress and remain alert to any changes in his situation.

For now, however, a potential move appears difficult, with Bayern’s stance making it clear that they do not want to part with one of their most promising young players.
