The Buffalo Bills might have a new tradition brewing at the new Highmark Stadium.

Prior to kickoff between the Bills (2-0) and Detroit Lions (1-1) in Buffalo's eventual 41-31 win on Thursday Night Football, the mic was handed to Hall of Famer Bruce Smith.

Former players would often hype up the crowd before kickoff at the team's old stadium, but this time Smith was accompanied by a group of massive horns which blared the third-down noise played at the stadium when the defense is on the field. Those went off after Smith spoke and what he said would get anyone in Bills Mafia going.

Smith dusted off the always iconic line from another former Bill and Hall of Famer, Marvy Levy: "Where else would you rather be than right here, right now?"

With the way the game went, clearly Smith did well.
