Burrow is a beast when he’s leading the team on drives, but he seems quite relaxed off the field. According to a recent interview, he seems to have a passion for board games.
The 29-year-old recently spoke about the legendary board game, ‘Settlers of Catan’, explaining what his go-to move is to secure a victory.

Catan, as it is simply known by most, is a board game based on skill and luck. Players take turns to roll dice and gather resources based on those rolls, building ‘settlements’ and ‘cities’ to gain victory points and claim the win.
There are five resources in the game, ‘lumber, brick, ore, grain, and wool.’ Grain is also referred to as wheat by some players. Burrow’s strategy seems to revolve around two of those resources.
“I like to hoard my ore, typically. Some ore and wheat depending on how the board plays out,” Burrow said on The Gronk and Jules Show. That’s just how it plays out for me, that’s how it works out.”
When asked who he plays with, Burrow said, “Lots of friends from home, we haven’t broken the Catan out yet in the locker room. Hopefully, we can get that going.
In the game, ore and wheat are used primarily to increase resource production rapidly. For a player as prolific as Burrow, it makes sense that he likes to stack numbers just as he does on the football field.
