The 3-star 2027 quarterback posted on X about his decision.
It came less than a week after the Bulldogs offered the prospect from Battle Ground Academy in Franklin, Tenn.
The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Bryan is a pocket passer with a “very good” arm, Battle Ground coach, Bobby Bentley told the Athens Banner-Herald.
“He understands spatial awareness in the passing game,” Bentley said. “A team leader in the locker room, the epitome of what a quarterback represents on and off the field.
Bryan is a first-year starter who sustained a broken collarbone in a game on Oct. 17.
He also had offers from Arkansas State, Tennessee Tech, Austin Peay and Eastern Kentucky.

Bentley said LSU , SMU and Virginia “all wanted to have a spot for him, but this deal with Georgia is a little bit different because it’s one of those spots where he always wanted to go there.”
Luke Bryan, a big Georgia fan who co-headlined a concert last spring in Sanford Stadium with Jason Aldean and is a judge on ABC's "American Idol," is there for his son not only for games but at 7-on-7 events and scrimmages.
“He’s not a helicopter dad,” Bentley said. “He’s not questioning me, he’s not questioning our staff. He’s not one of those guys that carries his weight into a meeting. Everybody knows who his Dad is, but his Dad has a been good asset to our staff and to our culture, honestly. He’s helped us out a lot just by buying into the positivity of what we’re trying to build here.”
Bo Bryan attended Georgia’s camp this summer and offensive coordinator Mike Bobo has come by the school.
“He fits Bobo and how he wants to be coached,” Bentley said. “I think it’s been a good match. They’ve done a good job recruiting him and the kids at our school.”
Four-star 2028 offensive offensive lineman Koehn Dial committed to Georgia earlier this month.
Bryan completed 114 of 155 passes for 2,100 yards with 30 touchdowns in 7 games for a spread offense.
“It’s a lot of stuff that Bobo does,” said Bentley, who an offensive assistant under Bobo at South Carolina in 2020. “Almost every concept that they do.”
Bryan is the second 2027 quarterback commitment for Georgia, joining four-star Colton Nussmeier of Archbishop Rummel in Metairie, La.
