Brayden McNabb injury update
McNabb was struck by a puck to the face in the first period of Thursday's game. The incident took place at the 9:08 mark of the frame. Nikolaj Ehlers fired a slapshot towards the cage that rose, catching McNabb in the head. He was wearing a visor.

The Vegas defenseman collapsed to the ice after taking the shot. He immediately grabbed his face and rushed to the locker room as a member of the Golden Knights' medical staff handed him a towel.
Vegas ruled him out for the remainder of the game shortly after his exit. ESPN's Emily Kaplan later reported that McNabb had left the arena and was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation.
On Friday morning, John Tortorella said the team didn't have any new information but McNabb will travel with the team back to Las Vegas.

McNabb exited the game after taking an Ehlers slapshot to the face in the first period of Thursday's game. He was summarily ruled out, with ESPN's Emily Kaplan reporting that McNabb exited the arena to undergo additional evaluation at a local hospital. McNabb left the ice under his own power.
