Given that the NFL season isn't set to get underway for more than two more months, players all around the league have been kicking their feet up in the offseason, whether it comes in the form of training or taking time away from the gridiron entirely. The same applies to those who were a part of the 2026 NFL Draft, as those newcomers are preparing to take their careers to the next level.

This is certainly the case for Makai Lemon, who was selected with the 20th pick in the 2026 draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. The former Trojan entered the draft off a 13-touchdown season in the Big Ten, recording 1156 yards across 79 receptions.

While Lemon was selected with AJ Brown still in Philadelphia's playbook, things have changed since then, and the Eagles' rookie is slated to have quite the tall order in his first year in the league.

Lemon throws out the first pitch

But for now, Lemon appears to be enjoying life in the City of Brotherly Love, with Saturday afternoon being no different, with the 22-year-old being spotted at the Philadelphia Phillies game, throwing out the first pitch.

The former USC star becomes the latest in the line of Eagles players to partake in the Phillies' pregame tradition at Citizens Bank Park, with Saquon Barkley and Brandon Graham having thrown out the first pitch last year, and the aforementioned Brown in 2022.

While the NFL season doesn't get underway until early September, the Eagles' preseason begins on August 15 with a match against the Baltimore Ravens, which could be the first look the Philadelphia faithful have at their first-round pick.
